seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a
60-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan. This role begins on Feb
2, 2026, and features 11a-11p shifts with consistent coverage
needed throughout the week. The position involves working in a
high-volume Emergency Department, collaborating with physicians and
residents, and supporting a diverse range of acute cases. Job

Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Schedule: 11a-11p, one
advanced practice provider shift daily, coverage needed 7 days a
week Responsibilities and Duties Provide direct patient care in a
busy Emergency Department Manage and triage a wide range of
emergency cases, including trauma and acute medical conditions
Coordinate admissions with administrative and resident teams; 60%
of hospital admissions originate from the ED Support patient flow
from Fast Track to main ED Follow established protocols for
pediatric and trauma transfers Collaborate closely with emergency
medicine residents, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff Ensure
all documentation and orders are completed accurately and
efficiently Additional Information Board Certification as a Nurse
Practitioner in Emergency Medicine required Michigan license
required at time of clearance (IMLC not accepted) Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
certifications required Minimum of 2 years recent emergency
department experience required NPDB self-query (within 30 days) and
clean background required for credentialing Local providers only;
