Board Certified Behavioral Analyst - School Location: Waterford, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,540 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Shift: 8 Hours Minimum Qualifications: Licensed Master’s Social Worker with full or temporary School Social Work approval by State of Michigan. Prior experience in the development of functional assessments and behavior intervention plans to facilitate successful learning. Strong knowledge of community resources which maybe used by individuals with developmental challenges. Demonstrate the capacity to identify barriers to student growth and the ability to analyze complex situations in order to achieve effective outcomes forstudents. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff,individuals receiving services, families, other agencies, and the general public. Employment experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Proficient in writing reports and maintaining records. Essential Functions: Conducts Functional Assessments that incorporate multiple data/information sources, including formal/informal observation of behaviors that interferewith learning. Develops Behavior Support Plans that are built upon the concepts of positive behavioral supports and utilizes ethical, proactive, person centered approaches in order to modify or resolve behavior. Develops methods of tracking effectiveness of behavior support plans through the analysis of behavioral data and makes changes to the plan as necessary. Provides the necessary training and modeling to enable classroom staff to effectively implement behavior support plans and instructional strategies in order to reduce or eliminate undesirable behaviors. Promotes student self-advocacy and independence by encouraging each individual to identify his/her needs and preferences Provides timely and accurate documentation, in compliance with policies, proceduresand regulations.
