Summary: Responsible for carrying out light and heavy cleaning tasks for buildings at designated facilities. Essential Job Functions: Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors Clean and disinfect equipment Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces Mix various cleaning agents Remove garbage and recycling Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants Identify and report possible repairs Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures Performs other related duties as assigned Skills: Ability to work well under minimal supervision Ability to take direction Strong attention to detail Professionalism Education/Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior experience helpful. Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
