hard work. The Role As a Logistics Account Executive, you will
combine inside sales, account management, supply chain planning and
operational activities to meet the shipping needs of our customers.
Relationships with your carriers will help grow their business and
your career. Our ideal candidate will utilize a network of
customers and contacts established over the course of their career
in addition to prospecting and engaging with new potential clients.
Our brokerage sales division provides the opportunity to be
involved in the growth of a huge part of our business! You will
help solve the same challenge that shippers and carriers face every
year: how to evolve and adapt to market conditions to maintain
relevance and profitability. Fusion solves the ever-changing
landscape for shippers & carriers by leveraging decades of industry
experience with fanatical service. Job Description: Responsible for
coordinating and overseeing the transportation of Containers, LTL,
or FTL in North America to establish lasting relationship and
growing B2B accounts. Have a strong background and understanding of
transportation management, negotiation, and providing quality
transportation solutions for the customer. Understand the current
market costs to negotiate rates with customers and carriers,
maximizing profit margins. Thorough understanding of freight
brokerage processes for a 3PL to provide solutions for customers by
utilizing partner carriers to implement & oversee loads, ensuring
meet or exceed the customers expectation. Maintain hyper awareness
of client needs and the operational impact of scheduling all
inbound and outbound movements, including resolving operational
conflicts between customers, carriers, shippers, and receivers.
Settle disputes with carriers when there are discrepancies in
resolving shipment issues. Continually research and negotiate with
carriers to increase partner carrier base. Accept/reject freight
from customers, based on current capacity and rates. Maintain
consistent communication with customers, shipment operators,
steamship lines and agents to ensure service satisfaction.
Consistently hit monthly goals, expectation, and KPIs.
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Freight Brokerage Industry
Experience is a must. Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office. In-depth knowledge of the 3PL
Logistics and Transportation industry. Ability to leverage outbound
lead campaigns effectively to qualify potential sales prospects.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once. A competitive drive.
