KNOW:Handle customer telephone orders, maintain inventories for
reagents, supplies, equipment, and products. Provide support,
development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.Perform
all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard
operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local

Responsibilities:
- Receive customer orders for blood products and refer to
appropriate personnel.
- Operate, maintain and may perform quality control checks on
laboratory equipment.
- May perform inventory management, coordination and shipment
duties associated with donor products, including
requesting/ordering, receiving, inspection and storage of IRL
supplies and reagents. Ensure adequate inventory of required
supplies.
- May perform labeling and verification of blood products.
- May perform antigen typing duties under direct supervision, as
applicable.Standard Schedule: M-F Day ShiftPay Information:
$17-23/hrWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: High School or equivalent required. Associates
degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience or
equivalent combination of education and related experience
required.
- Management Experience: N/A
- Skills & Abilities: Good communication skills in both oral and
written English required. Computer experience and familiarity with
office automation (e.g. MS Word) desired. Ability to work on a
team.
- Travel: May involve variable locations and some travel
- *Combination of candidate's education and general experience
satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to
description's minimum education and general experience years
combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).WHAT WILL

- MLT (ASCP) certificationPhysical Requirements:Requires
standing, stretching, stooping and bending for extended time
periods. Lift, pull, push and move objects of up to 50 pounds. May
work in walk-in refrigerator/freezers for periods of time. Required
to wear protective clothing such as lab coats, gloves, face
shields, etc. Ability to use a wide variety of lab or medical
