This position is for a large fast paced OP clinic in St. Clair
Shores. The primary caseload is Orthopedics. Looking for dynamic
flexible Physical Therapist interested is being part of a
Physical therapists (PTs) are movement experts who optimize
quality of life through prescribed exercise, hands-on care and
patient education. The staff physical therapist is an independent
health care professional who is responsible to evaluate referred
patients, establish patient specific goals and develop and execute
treatment plans promoting patient participation. The staff physical
therapist utilizes a full range of treatment interventions and
modalities to promote each patient's ability to move, reduce pain,
restore the highest possible functional level and prevent
disability. The staff physical therapist also participates in
performance improvement and educational activities that promote the
growth and development of the department and profession.

A. Education / Training:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required. Masters or
Doctorate Degree preferred.
B. Work Experience:
- Written or verbal communication skills required. Word
processing and computer skills required. It is preferred that
pediatric therapists have NDT certification and competency in

evaluations, re-evaluations, daily notes, plans of care with
associated certification dates, physician letters, insurance
authorizations and discharge notes which provide evidence of
skilled care according to professional, departmental and payor

This may involve working at other sites depending on patient
volume, or other factors. Inpatient work schedule requirements are
based on a seven day per week operation which includes availability
