Job Description Job Description As an EHS Manager, you will champion a proactive safety culture by collaborating with others to ensure compliance with safety regulations along with driving continuous improvements in the safety area at our Canton, MI location. Every day as an EHS Manager, you will Lead and mentor associates through collaboration and influence, without direct reports Collaborate across Precision Strip to develop safety-related items that prevent and protect associates Partner with associates on hazard identification and mitigation Ensure compliance and implementation of safety regulations and procedures Coach, train, and assist the plants in developing corrective actions and solving problems Investigate safety issues to identify root causes, and ensure issues are addressed and resolved Ensure safety policies are effectively communicated and associates receive effective training Conduct compliance audits to recognize performance and identify areas of improvement Develop recommendations to strengthen our safety management system Lead proactive safety behavior culture change Lead moderately complex technical items and situations Support other projects as needed To thrive in this role, you must Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment Balance daily priorities and the achievement of long-term strategic goals Develop strong, personal relationships with associates Support others to accomplish goals Look for ways to continuously improve our processes.
