Job title: Senior Assembler Location: Avon, OH Shift: 1 st (6 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday) Salary: $20 - $27 an hour based on experience Job description Advanced knowledge of reading production instructions, processes, and procedures, including interpretation and translation of engineering designs and documentation. Operating and inspecting production equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment, performing routine maintenance and adjustments following prints and specifications. Advanced knowledge of hand tools, measuring with precision tools, and ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications. Advanced knowledge of soldering using a welding torch, along with brazing. Report any issues with equipment or materials to the team lead or supervisor. Abide by OSHA and environmental regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Must have brazing and weld torch experience Ability to read production instructions and interpreted designs, blueprints and documentations Ability to use quality tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc Prior knowledge and ability to use welding torch and brazing Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Mechanically inclined with the ability to solve problems and think analytically. Read and comprehend simple verbal and written instructions, and can work in a team environment. Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment. Understanding of and the ability to abide by OSHA and environmental regulations.
