Experience: Minimum years of experience required Description: In
accordance with training and scope of practice, administer and
interpret psychometric tests as requested as part of treatment
needs for specific diagnoses, treatment, and psychological
individual and group interventions. Administer, score, and
interpret individual psychological tests or test batteries for
purposes of crisis intervention, neuropsychological issues, risk
assessment, severe behavioral management cases, treatment, and
programming. Participate in hearings as assigned and assessments
for potential suicide. As a member of the interdisciplinary team,
be responsible for the development and implementation of mental
health interventions (e.g., psychological, social, and substance
abuse) for a caseload of offenders/patients with mental illness.
Conduct individual and group clinical interventions as prescribed
on the individual mental health treatment plan using clinical
intervention strategies within the scope of practice. Provide
mental health liaison services to an assigned caseload, including
the monitoring of offender compliance with the mental health
treatment plan. Complete detailed screens, mental health
evaluations, and crisis services within the scope of practice.
Write reports and/or documents, including documentation of all
offender contacts, mental health liaison progress note entries,
discharge plans, and miscellaneous forms and reports as needed.
Complete psychosocial needs and treatment assessments as part of
interdisciplinary treatment planning. Complete transfer and
discharge summaries and pre-parole clinical risk assessments and
treatment summaries. Consult with other institution staff regarding
the mental health caseload, inmate institutional adjustment, and
service needs. Attend meetings of psychology clinical case
consultation. Attend and instruct in-service training sessions and
workshops for professional development. Conduct expert-witness
assessments as needed. No cell phones permitted until proper
paperwork has been submitted and approved. Must clear a metal
detector; no cans, tobacco, vapes, etc. permitted. Food must be in
clear see-through containers. No more than 1 gallon of water
permitted to be brought into the facility. Requirements Required
