Job Description: This temporary position provides coverage for employee leaves and vacations offering flexible day shifts of 8 10 or 12 hours in a Level 1 trauma center. The CRNA will work under supervision managing adult patients and a limited pediatric population including general surgery deep sedation/MAC neurosurgical cases ventilation management and oversight of physician-administered regional anesthesia. As a locum CRNA at Henry Ford Hospital – Detroit MI the provider anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures including general surgery neurosurgical cases and deep sedation/MACCollaborate closely with anesthesiologists surgeons and perioperative staff including RNs surgical technologists and anesthesia techniciansProvide preoperative assessments and patient educationAdminister anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical proceduresManage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesiaRespond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare teamDocument patient care and anesthesia management accurately in Epic EMRParticipate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiativesWork day shifts only 8 10 or 12 hours with no on-call or weekend requirements Work Experience Required: Not accepting new graduate candidatesMust have current NBCRNA certification and BLS ACLS PALSOnly fully licensed providers eligible cannot be waiting to obtain state licenseLocum coverage only not for permanent hireMileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days- Temps have been requested Henry Ford does not reimburse for background checks Henry Ford does not reimburse for application or credentialing fees. Perm Placement/Conversion : 22kCRNA: 18kAPP: 16k Schedule Varied, Variable day shifts with flexible durations of 8, 10, or 12 hours, depending on scheduling needs.
