Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Saginaw, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Facility Name: MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw Unit: Progressive Care Unit (Neuro PCU) Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU (Nights) Location: Saginaw, MI Position Type: 13 Weeks (36 Hours Guaranteed) Start Date: 03/16/2026 Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:15 AM (12 Hour Shifts) Job Description: The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, intervention, evaluation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The RN functions as a team leader/resource, delegates to support staff, and ensures compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Patient Ratio: Target 1:4–5 (up to 1:6) Key Responsibilities: • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide evidence-based nursing care • Administer medications and treatments • Respond to alarms, assist with transfers, and manage call lights • Evaluate and update care plans in collaboration with the care team • Delegate and oversee support staff • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Required Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years experience • Neuro PCU experience – REQUIRED • Active Michigan RN License (LARA or Nursys verification) • ACLS (AHA) • BLS (AHA) • NIHSS Certification • 2 Supervisory References within last 2 years • PCU Skills Checklist (within 1 year) Additional Requirements: • Recent travel experience – Highly Preferred • Permanent address required (Local candidates considered within 50 miles for one 13-week contract only) • All scheduling requests must be submitted at time of submission • Every Other Weekend & Holiday • No Call Facility Highlights: • 268-bed full-service hospital • Level II Trauma Center • Comprehensive Stroke Center • Advanced cardiac, neuro, oncology, orthopedic, and women’s health services • Non-teaching facility About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
