Wallick Communities is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated healthcare team at one of our senior living facilities. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being and quality of life of our residents. This position involves direct patient care, including the administration of medications, wound care, and the monitoring of residents' health. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients within a senior living environment. Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior to supervisory medical staff. Maintain accurate patient records and implement orders for diagnostic tests. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Facilitate communication between patients and physicians, other medical professionals, and administrative staff. Ensure compliance with health care regulations and safety standards. Proficient in clinical skills with an emphasis on patient care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and with minimal supervision. Knowledge of medication administration, wound care, and basic life support. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Ohio. CPR/BLS certification is required.
