About the Position We’re seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner
(APP/NP) to join a high-performing Cardiovascular Surgery team at a
Level I Trauma Center in Lansing, Michigan , starting February .
This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who enjoys inpatient
cardiovascular care without OR responsibilities , supported by a
strong surgical team. Position Highlights Specialty: Cardiovascular
Surgery (Cardiac & Vascular) Setting: Inpatient / Rounding role
only (no OR) Schedule: 4-day, 10-hour workweek Call: 1 in 4 weeks
(first call from home) Weekends: 1 weekend per month Start Date:
February Epic EMR. Patient Mix (Approx.) CVICU: 2–8/day CVSU:
2–5/day (includes discharges) Vascular: 4–10/day (mostly floor
patients) Avg. daily census: ~15 patients (weekends higher) Travel
Covered: Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage (IRS rate)
Requirements Requirements Board-Certified NP – Required Active MI
license or NLC – Preferred BLS & ACLS – Required Experienced APPs
only (no new grads) Clean malpractice & license history – Strongly
preferred NPDB self-query (within 30 days) – Required at
presentation
