An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide services in an elementary school located in Detroit, MI. This contract position covers the current school year and requires onsite attendance. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to elementary-aged students. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapy professionals to support student development. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs. - Maintain accurate documentation compliant with school and healthcare standards. - Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed, ensuring effective remote therapy sessions. Qualifications: - Valid Occupational Therapy license. - Experience in school-based occupational therapy services. - Proficiency in teletherapy and home health occupational therapy is a plus. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs.
