This position is for a Respiratory Therapist specializing in
Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics. Candidates must have at least 2
years of critical care experience. Experience in pediatrics and
PICU is required. The position involves working three 12-hour night
shifts every other weekend. Candidates must be available for
weekend coverage. The role does not require floating within
different departments. Certification requirements include state
licensure, BCLS, ACLS, and CRT. Experience with airway management,
medication administration, and ventilator management is essential.
Strong skills in O2 therapy, suctioning, and pulmonary toileting
are expected. Familiarity with various respiratory equipment and
procedures is necessary. Experience with polysomnography and sleep
studies is a plus. The facility provides care to a diverse patient
age group including neonates, infants, children, and adults. The
role requires effective communication and teamwork with
interdisciplinary support. Candidates must have a high level of
proficiency in interpreting arterial blood gases. The daily census
at the facility is approximately 445 patients. All candidates must
