Pay Information $2,501 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night/Day rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in specialty applying for License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required Must-Have: 18 months of recent Cardiac Step Down experience. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment required during orientation. One reference from a manager or supervisor required for submission. Description: This position is for a registered nurse in a step-down unit. The shift consists of 12-hour night and day rotations. Shifts typically include two weeks of days followed by two weeks of nights if necessary. The facility aims to honor travelers' preferred shifts but reserves the right to rotate as needed. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of cardiac care and step-down procedures. Orientation includes 20 hours of training. An acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments is required. Candidates will have two attempts to successfully pass both assessments. Background checks will be conducted, and any hits will be reviewed by the facility. Candidates must comply with nicotine-free requirements if applicable. All modules must be completed prior to the start date. Modules vary by specialty and are required annually.
