Job Description Description Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for inpatient Hematology/Oncology Consults at Lake West and Tripoint Medical Centers. The schedule is Mon-Fri 8 hr. day shifts. Advanced Practice Provider experience required and Oncology experience preferred. /n /n Position Summary: /n /n - Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research. /n - Establishes plan of care and implements interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, and standards of care and current research. /n - Collaborates w/other health care providers in an interdisciplinary approach to provide care to the patient and family. /n - Order and perform routine diagnostic procedures /n - Develop and implement treatment plans /n - Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions /n - Contributes to the educational development of staff, patients, family and self. /n - Demonstrates progressive leadership and effective management. /n - Provides education through role modeling and in-services to meet identified learning needs and to promote professionalism. /n - Advances own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education and participation in peer review. /n - Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers. /n - Initiates and maintains positive relationships with co-workers. /n - Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. /n - Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values /n /n /n - Performs other duties as assigned. /n - Complies with all policies and standards. /n - For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. /n - Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
