University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238-bed community
hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and
referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric
trauma designations. Corewell Health William Beaumont University
Hospital has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454
residents and fellows. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner
of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with
more than 1,400 Beaumont doctors on faculty. About the Department
The Fetal Imaging Division is limited to obstetrical sonography
ranging from 1st trimester pregnancy evaluation (pregnancy
viability/ectopic pregnancies, and fetal evaluation including
nuchal translucency) to 2nd and 3rd trimester fetal evaluation
(including routine fetal evaluation, detailed ultrasound
examination, fetal echocardiography, biophysical profiles, cervical
length evaluation, and Doppler evaluation). In addition, procedures
including amniocentesis and chorionic villous sampling are
performed.
We are seeking an individual experienced in the obstetrical
sonography, able to work independently and in conjunction with our
Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians
Scope to Work Under site designate leader, and according to
established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient
Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment,
independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must
demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible
images for interpretation. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of
Patient and Family Centered Care at all times. Qualifications
- Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
- Minimal as gained at student level.
- Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography
(ARDMS) or Registry eligible, paid at the trainee rate for up to 1
year.
- If unregistered must obtain at least one (ABD or OB/GYN) within
1 year from hire. Additional registry within two years from date of
hire.
- Need Experience in NT, amino guidance, detail exams,
trans-vaginal CL, Fetal Echo
- Preferred 5 years of experience in OB/GYN at a high-risk
unit
- If registered at hire additional registry must be obtained
within 1 year from hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at
