Description: Manager Qualifications: Managers must have prerequisite skills and qualifications:Manager will oversee the day to day operations of 2-3 adult foster care homes across the Metro Detroit Area.Starting Wage: $21.00/hour 3 years' experience as Direct Care Staff1 years= minimum experience in managerial position In-depth knowledge of this industry ( Adult Foster Care)Exceptional leadership skills including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorshipExceptional interpersonal and communication skills: writing, speaking and active listeningEffective conflict resolution and problem-solving skillsGood organization and time managementComfortable in a fast-paced or high-pressure environmentPlanning and development of projectsMaking operational and process decisionsSolving problems creativelyExceptional attention to detail and time management skillsKeen strategic thinking and planningUnderstanding of budget managementManager Duties and Responsibilities:Perform administrative duties & Creating and organizing employee schedulesMonitoring and evaluating employee performanceLeading team membersExecute and complete assignments Evaluating employee performance and completing employee reviews and assessmentsDocumenting operational tasks and reporting to upper-level managementAssist with new employee onboarding and training programOversees all residential care staff-related functions at the assigned house site---Communicates regularly with District Director---Monitors and maintains employee scheduling and time worked---Manages house site budget, petty cash fund, and resident funds---Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of facility---Works with the maintenance department to communicate all facility maintenance issues---Oversees all administrative, clerical record-keeping, clinical record keeping, medication administration, transportation, and coordination of care duties at assigned home site(s)---Communicates with all internal and external clinical, medical, and regulatory services---Attends client functions as scheduled and maintains regular client interaction---On-call responsibilities, maybe shared with other qualified residential care staff---Performs other duties as assigned or requested Position Requirements Must have a flexible schedule Must have reliable transportation Must have a valid Driver's License and a good driving record Must have knowledge of the Adult Foster Care industry and favorable work history that can be verified Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time Shift: Various Shifts Position: Assistant Manager Number of Openings: 2 Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Location in Description: HC Woodmont 1 PI6a7e246c4d9a-31181-31374498
