Job Description:

Overview We’re hiring a Tool Room Shift Lead with a journeyman diemaker background to lead shift operations in our metal stamping facility. This is a hands-on role requiring deep tooling expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and proven leadership or project management experience. Responsibilities Lead and support toolmakers and technicians during assigned shift. Repair and maintain progressive, transfer, and line dies. Prioritize work orders and support production needs. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams. Drive improvements in die performance and toolroom efficiency. Maintain accurate documentation and enforce safety protocols. Train and mentor junior team members. Requirements Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification or equivalent experience. 6 years in tool and die, ideally in metal stamping. Leadership or project management experience. Strong blueprint reading and machining skills (manual and CNC). Effective communicator with solid time management. Preferred Experience with die tryouts and process improvements. Familiar with ERP systems and lean manufacturing. Please submit a resume for consideration.
