Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) to provide support in a K12 educational setting
located in Ann Arbor, MI. This short-term assignment runs from May
1st through June 12th and offers the opportunity to make a
meaningful impact during the contracted school year (CSY). The role
primarily focuses on serving students in grades JK4 across multiple
buildings, including an additional assignment within a
Communication Impairment (CI) program classroom of eight students.
This position offers exposure to a diverse school-age population,
providing essential speech and language therapy services to enhance
students communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
individualized and group speech-language therapy services to
children primarily in JK4 grades. Support students within a
specialized CI classroom, tailoring interventions to meet specific
communication needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school
staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Maintain
accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with
district and state requirements. Participate in team meetings and
contribute to ongoing assessment and evaluation processes.
Qualifications: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in
Speech-Language Pathology. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year
(CFY) or equivalent experience. Experience working in school
settings, preferably with children in early elementary grades.
Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and evidence-based
therapeutic techniques applicable to school-aged children.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
within multiple school environments. This contract is an excellent
