Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic
opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to
support a K-12 public school in Lansing, MI, on a contract basis
for the current school year (CSY). This role focuses on providing
specialized therapy services to a mixed-grade caseload, including
24 high needs students, requiring expertise in school-based
occupational therapy. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver
individualized occupational therapy interventions tailored to
students educational needs. - Collaborate with educators, parents,
and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement therapy plans.
- Conduct assessments and document progress to meet state and
federal guidelines. - Support students across mixed grade levels,
focusing on functional goals within the school environment. -
Contribute to creating an inclusive learning atmosphere that
accommodates diverse student abilities. Qualifications: - Licensed
Occupational Therapist with experience in school systems. -
Proficient in school-based occupational therapy practices and
understanding of educational regulations. - Ability to manage a
caseload of students with high needs effectively. - Strong
communication skills for collaboration with staff and families. -
Flexibility to begin immediately and work through the end of the
school year. Location: - Position based in Lansing, Michigan,
within a K-12 educational setting. This contract assignment is
available ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY), with
