Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in Warren, MI is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a
contract position covering the current school year (CSY). This role
is essential in supporting the mental health and educational
development of students across all grade levels. The ideal
candidate will have experience working within school settings and a
strong understanding of psychological assessment, intervention, and
consultation services tailored to children and adolescents. Key
Responsibilities: - Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate
students cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs. - Develop and
implement individualized intervention plans. - Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success. -
Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed. - Assist in
developing and monitoring special education eligibility and IEPs. -
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to compliance with
state and federal regulations. - Participate in multidisciplinary
team meetings to promote a positive school environment.
Qualifications and Experience: - Valid state licensure or
certification as a School Psychologist. - Experience working in a
K-12 educational setting. - Proficiency in psychological testing
and data interpretation. - Strong communication and interpersonal
skills. - Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain
confidentiality. - Commitment to student advocacy and support.
