As a trusted Childcare Provider, you will play a pivotal role in our commitment, ensuring that children enjoy their time at our facility while their parents utilize our fitness services. This position demands a person who is passionate about child care, with a deep understanding of childrens developmental needs and safety requirements. Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care Prepare and organize mealtimes and snacks for children Help children keep good hygiene Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allows children to learn about the world and explore their interests Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring them to the attention of parents Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interest Patience and communication skills Understanding of child psychology and stages of development Ability to handle stressful situations calmly Proactive in educational and playful activities First Aid and CPR certified CPR and First Aid certifications Any state-specific certifications required for childcare providers
