Job Description Job Description Tax Manager (WILL HIRE ASAP) We are a regional full service CPA firm in business for 50yrs and are nationally recognized as a top 50 CPA firm. Dozens of awards and excellent reviews. We are continuing to grow and are looking to add another manager to our Business Services team. We have offices in DET, Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown, and Buffalo, NY and would like this position to be in office ~2-3 times per week We are also hiring for Tax Seniors What You Will Be Doing Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for various entities including C-Corps, S-Corps, and partnerships. Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws, keeping up to date with any changes in tax legislation that may affect clients. Provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficient tax structuring. Review and analyze tax returns prepared by junior staff, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Develop and implement tax compliance policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed within the firm. Assist clients with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities. Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper tax treatment of transactions and activities. Train and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development. What You Need for this Position At least 6 years in public accounting with an emphasis in taxation Ideally, at least 1 year in a manager capacity BUT experienced supervisors and seniors are encouraged to apply!
